DESCRIPTION
How to use the unit
1. Plugin the 12V adapter to the monitor preferably in a closed room. Adapter is provided along with
2. Leave the machine for 5-10 mins to bootup. Till the time booting is over "dust Sense" is shown on the screen
3. Blow some air into the left orifice (if needed), this speeds up the booting time
You can now check air purifier capability by placing the air monitor at various corners of the room.
Important points:
1. The readings would be varying in different parts of the same room even with no air turbulence. This is because of the brownian motion of the PM2.5 particles (it is invisible to naked eye).
2. Readings would vary even if the unit is kept at the same location untouched (because of the same reason as point 1 (above). It is a misconception among people that air quality is constant in a room
3. "cur" in the denominator shows instantaneous PM2.5 value and "A-" shows averaged value
4. % value depicts air cleanness. 99% means, air is 99% clean for readings are nearing 10ug/m3. Whereas 5% means air quality is very poor, nearing 800ug/m3 or more
5. Machine should be kept in vertical position
- Dust monitor to show the ambient value of PM2.5 (in μg/m³)
- Displays (instantaneous) current value, averaged value and % of clean air
- Quantifies the PM level as GOOD, NORMAL, POOR and ALARM (as per ratings)
