Starting in the top right hand corner, I used 2" squares to make a color transition of purple and green flowers. Pansies, hydrangea, mums and other flower fabric were used for the transition from light to dark at the bottom. From a distance, this looks like one large piece of fabric with a very intricate design. On a closer look, you can see the individual squares that make up the total image. I love how each of these fabrics transitions to the next, giving a view of a gorgeous summer garden garden. I used a green fabric for the small inner border and a purple fabric with leaves for the larger outside border. These two colors perfectly framed the middle of this piece.

Two small rings are sewn at the top back for hanging.
