Zinc Plate - These plates are polished on one side and are 16-gauge (.064" thick).

These zinc plates are made of polished zinc and are ideal for etching, drypoint, and aquatint. The surface polished to photo-engraver's quality for etching.

The surfaces are polished and the back has an acid resistant coating to protect acid action. They do not require stopping-out prior to etching.
