They almost always ended up in someones long forgotten treasure box from years ago, when they were real popular among us Hippies. I have made several mobiles with them, this one being my latest. I like to think I am giving them new life, to be enjoyed on a daily basis. This mobile is sturdy enough to go outside, but I would recommend sheltering it, and bringing it in if you live in a climate with nasty winters.
