Set of 9 Key Easing Iron Broaches.
This set of 9 Solid Brass Key Easing Broaches are designed to be used with a soldering iron that accepts a 1/4" tip. Straight broaches that come in 9 different sizes to iron the key bushings in the front and balance rail mortises. Key easing with an iron provides much better and more permanent results than using key easing pliers or wedges.

It is recommended to use a temperature control unit on the soldering iron to avoid over ironing. To set the correct temperature on your iron, put a drop of water on the broach and then slowly turn up the temperature control until the water begins to boil. You would then set the temperature just below this as you want to have the temperature somewhere between 150 degrees and 200 degrees.
To find the correct size of broach start with a smaller size and work your way up checking the fit of the key on the pin after each size broach to determine the correct fit. You will only need to hold the broach on the bushing for one second to get the correct results.
