How do I use the silicone mold?
1. Dust mold lightly with cornstarch and tap out the excess
2. Roll out your fondant or gum paste and insert into the mold. Keep your fingers dusted with cornstarch so the fondant does not stick to your hands.
3. Press your fondant down with one hand while you pinch and smooth the fondant with with your other hand. Best to work left to right.
4. Once you have secure your fondant, use a rolling pin dusted with cornstarch and roll over the shape. Press firmly into the mold.
5. To create a flat and even surface, lay a dusted cornstarch knife flat and slowly trim away any excess fondant.
6. If you notice any rough edges, dust your fingers and rub the edges to smooth them out.
7. If your fondant is soft to the touch, place the mold into the freezer for a few minutes.
8. Once your fondant is firm, simply flip your silicone mold and bend the mold backwards. Your fondant should pop out. If you're having trouble, try using a toothpick or knife to push the fondant SLOWLY.
9. Let your fondant on a parchment paper and let it dry (usually around 10 minutes or so)
