This is a tooth from Carcharodontosaurus, otherwise known as "African T-Rex". I guarantee this is a genuine dinosaur tooth. It dates back to the Cretaceous period approximately 100 million years ago! With fossil teeth this old, it is not uncommon to have repairs and restoration done after it is collected in the field so please inspect the photos closely or send me email for additional information about the fossil. This tooth measures approximately 2.139 inches in length. Included with the fossil is a glass topped display box (Riker mount) and nice color information card. This tooth was found in Morocco, North Africa. Possibly larger than T-Rex, this dinosaur had large serrated "steak-knife" teeth superbly adapted to cutting and rending flesh. Coupled with strong muscular neck and rear legs, this dinosaur was a fearsome predator.
