This is a classic comfort for us. We love walnut and it basically speaks for itself. This wood originally came from an old flooring plant in Illinois that closed down. We finally caught up with it down in Woodville Alabama. We drove several hundred miles to find this stuff and we we're extremely impressed! We loaded up a big ole trailer and brought as much as we could home. This bench is one of the first pieces we made with our new find. Simple, clean edges just letting the walnut tell its own story. This is the perfect bench to have in your hallway or even around your dinner table.
