This domed coin keychain was made from an authentic U.S commemorative nickel coin. This 5 cent coin celebrated the Lewis and Clark Expedition with the words 'Ocean in View Oh the Joy!' along with a timberline and view of the Pacific Ocean one side and a right profile of Thomas Jefferson on the other. It is dated 2005. The copper-nickel coin was polished to a bright shiny patina.

After I drilled the coin, I cleaned and polished the coin. Notice that the coin has been domed to add interest. The circulated, domed nickel is 13/16 inch (21mm) in diameter and in excellent condition. It is wire wrapped with sturdy silver-plated wire from a 1 inch (26mm) diameter metal key ring It hangs 1 1/4 inches (32mm) from a metal key ring.
