Rare Sterling Silver Vermeil (completely gold-washed) Art Nouveau Enameled pitcher made by Gorham with date mark for the year 1897. The front of this fabulous pitcher has a beautifully enameled iris flower. The back of the pitcher has a very fine design of an Art Nouveau iris. Gorham only made this line of enameled hollowware for one year and this is the finest example we have seen.
It measures 8 L (including handle) x 5 W x 7 3/4 HT. Weight: 16 troy ounces. It is not monogrammed and is in excellent condition. Exceptional! Museum quality. SATISFACTION GUARANTEED!
