Comparing with the raditional meter, this is simpler, insert it into the soil where you want to test, and then it can direcetly show you what you need to know.
How it working:
When the down metal sensor touches the soil, the Redox reactions creat the Electric current accordingly, which will move the cell data shown as PH meter and Humidity.
No charity or battery is needed, it can usually be used over 3 years. And the normal PH meter is 3-8, humidity is 10%-80%.
Please clear the Organic impurities in front of the soil, if the soil is too dry to react, please wet the soil and wait for 20 minutes before you insert the metal sensor.
Please clear the metal sensor's head everytime you start, and wipe down the protecting oil on the head if necessary.
The sensor head should be 8-10cm under the soil, and the soil should be beaten hard to insure full connection between the soil and the sensor.
Please read when there is a steady number.
The density, humidity and fertility can effect you testing, so please try defferent places for better average result. Sometimes the humidity makes the unsteady reading, try other points until it reads normally.
Notice:
1.Please do not let the tester in the soil too long, or it will be oxidated. And use a scouring pad to wipe out the Soil particles everytime after testing.
2. Please make sure the metal sensor header is clean and dry before you put aside.
3. Please keep the head away from any mental, or it will infect the sensibility.
4. ONLY SOIL is allowded.
