Plants form an attractive mound of deeply lobed green leaves that are more rounded than most other geranium species. Flowers are comprised of five heart-shaped petals with darker purple veining and are held in loose terminal clusters on reddish-purple stems. Blooms the first season when started early. Uses/Culture: Specimen or accent planting for mixed beds and borders, containers, edging. Plant in full sun to partial shade with some protection during the hottest part of the day in southern climates. Moderately moist but well-draining soil is preferred. This variety adapts well to a wide range of growing conditions and soil types.
