The Mundihunt was developed with durability, utility and safety in mind. Blades are constructed of high-carbon stainless steel, allowing for a longer knife edge, without being too hard to reshape. Edge features a higher, meat processor preferred grind that cuts easily. The handle is dual injection molded onto the tang and blade, to produce a strong bond. The inner core features a dense polymer for strength, while the outer layer is a soft grip (rubber like) polymer that provides extra traction and comfort. The orange handles are easy to locate. The 10" round sharpening steel features a dual cut, meaning two opposite sides are smooth, to help keep your knife edge straight and lightly hone, while two opposite sides are fine cut to help sharpen when needed.
