Each earring was made with an origami folded paper crane in a silver, white & yellow with a little pink colored Chiyogami Japanese paper, paired with a silver colored faceted metal bead, hanging with a silver colored metal connector from a rhinestone post & clutch ear-wire. Very light weight.

The length of the earring from the post of the ear wire to the bottom of the of the bead is 2″. The width of the crane is about 1.75″.

The origami cranes were sealed with several coats of Mod Podge and non-yellowing satin varnish to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not water proof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers.
