My products are hand thrown on a wheel with buff speckled stoneware. The freshly thrown clay has to slowly dry for 2-3 days before being fired for the first time in the kiln. At this point, the bisque item will be glazed one of several colors (clear, white, green, blue, red, maroon, or yellow) and decorated with several options (sponge ware, white splash, black splash, white sparbleware, green sparbleware, or just left as a solid color). It is then fired again to about 2200 degrees. Glaze is food safe. Can be used in the oven, microwave, and dishwasher. You add your favorite seasonings to make a broth in the reservoir for a marinade. Beer, wine, apple, or orange juice, barbecue sauces are all good candidates. Bake in the oven or microwave and enjoy the tenderest, tastiest chicken ever. Each piece is unique.
