Purple Tiger rose is unlike any other striped rose variety that we have grown. This unique fragrant floribunda rose plant produces ruffled petals splashed with magenta, purple, and lavender streaks. Hardy for gardening zones 5-10, Purple Tiger rose has a nice compact rounded shape and matures to 3-4 feet tall by 3-4 feet wide. The flowers are large when mature at 3 1/2 inches each and over 35+ petals per bloom. This lovely repeat blooming rose will keep up the floral show from late spring well into fall. Purple Tiger rose does require a regular preventive disease program to look its best, especially in the south where black spot can be an issue. Fragrance is a fruity citrus with rose undertones.
