Sterling silver wire is artfully swirled and sculpted around a rainbow shimmer Ethiopian jelly opal with vivid fire flash! A sparkling Swarovski crystal is added for adornment!
The opal comes from a newer mining find in Ethiopia (the Welo Mine). Normally, Ethiopian opals demonstrate dark brown or red color with brilliant fire and can be opaque to light. These specimens exhibit white or clear color with much fire! They are essentially transparent or translucent to light and display pretty changing fire as the stone is viewed from multiple angles!
My handmade original, infused with love! The pendant comes with a long fine black satin cord, but would also look lovely worn on a silver chain.
