For the mixed and scallop shells Straight from Weymouth Bay fresh as a daisyThey will need putting through your dishwasher or hand cleaning before using them for cookingSome people use them for baking and serving Coquilles St Jacques or for starters with Olives and pickles etcGreat for Hors d'ouvres or Fish dishesSome use them for small ashtrays and some for ornamentsDishwasher proofOven safeAll the shells are natural and will vary in size however if you look closely at the picks I have included a tape measure so you can get a good ideaFree postage and packing -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the miniature packs of sea shells These were collected/harvested before conservation of the reefs in the 1960's to 1970's. The reason I can be so specific about the dates is because they were in a garage for years and all wrapped in newspaper from that era. The newspaper was all shredded where mice got in, they ate the newspaper and if course left the shells alone. To give you an idea of size I have included a British ten pence coin (decimal) in each photograph. Some of these are the smallest I've ever seen. Some were collected locally I'm sure, and others from more exotic locations. I have no idea what the individual shells are called.Ideal for craft and Jewellery making and priced at a steal which includes free postage and packing. They have a range of uses from plant pots by placing them around the plant at the top for visual purposes but also as snail and slug repellents as they don't like climbing over them. They can be placed in a dish for decoration purposes in a bathroom or used in a fish tank or aquarium.Loads and loads of different ways they can be used including something as simple as placing them on a saucer and putting them on a table or in the window to remind you of the sea.Whatever you do w
