These ceramic buttons are made by hand one at a time so no two are exactly alike. They are made using a smooth stoneware clay and fired to over 2100 degrees, so they are very durable. They are highly textured with a handmade doily and glazed in a glossy, variegated brown glaze. The backs are left unglazed but are smooth. They make a unique addition to your sewing, knitting, crocheting, jewelry making or scrapbooking projects. They measure approx. 1". The listing price is for one button.
