A perfect gift for a friend or family member who has left their beloved state, a housewarming gift for the recently arrived or as a rustic touch for your own home or cottage. All of our ornaments are made with cherry or birch wood that has been sustainably harvested from the woods of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Once the wood is dried, cut and sanded, we hand burn the state on the slice and then apply a beeswax wood conditioner. From start to finish, our ornament process is handmade. No laser printers or manufactured anything! Just good, old fashion craftsmanship. Our ornaments are 3.5 to 4 inches in diameter and hung with a jute cord.
