Three jolly polar bears out on the town, ready to stop for a cup of cocoa or something a little bit stronger. To create them I adapted an antique postcard and printed the image on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out individually with my scrolling saw. The bear trio measures approximately 4&1/2" x 3&1/2" and is enameled gold on the back and sides. The polar bears are shipped in a sturdy, attractive gift box.
