Drawer works with POS Terminals, PCs, etc. The user designates a USB I/O as the cash drawer interface port. The USB(F) I/O outputs 5VDC to the USB Interface Module that electronically steps it up to 24VDC that goes on to activate the 24VDC drawer release system. The 6P6CRJ11(M) interface cable connects to the cash drawer & the USB Module 6P6CRJ11(F) jacks. The USB(M)A interface cable connects to the terminal & the USB Module USB(F) jacks. Salient Features & Functions - Drawer open/closed status micro sensor is installed. Drawer security lock has 3-positions: open/operate, closed, manual open. Drawer front has 1-slot for inserting documents that store under the removable coin till. Drawer 6P6CRJ12(F) interface jack is located underneath out of the way. Drawer emergency release lever is located underneath out of the way. Drawer is constructed of heavy-duty ABS. Housing is constructed of steel. The top is reinforced so that terminals, peripherals, etc may be placed on top. Housing is powder coated finished in black texture for a durable hard skin surface. Molded black ABS cash drawer has 4-fixed wire gripper bill compartments & a removable ABS coin till with 5-adjustable compartments Drawer suspension system has steel ball-bearings set in nylon wheels installed on the ABS cash drawer that operate in the steel housing. Usage - Drawer is designed for medium to high usage. It works with POS systems installed in general & specialty retailing stores, department & discount stores, supermarket & grocery & convenience stores, drug stores & pharmacies, quick service & casual & fine dining restaurants, etc. In Box - RJ Interface Cable, USB Interface Cable, USB Interface Module, (2) Security Lock Keys, Manual, NO CD is provided, download driver from Jay web site as per installation instructions.
