DESCRIPTION

  • Known as Golden Marguerite Daisy or Dyer's Chamomile, this perennial provides an abundance of yellow daises all summer and fall. The Golden Marguerite daisy makes a great cut flower for bouquets, and it dries well for dried arrangements and wreaths. The foliage is elegantly cut, fern-like and aromatic.
  • This variety of Anthemis Tinctoria will grow about 30 inches tall and is invaluable for the summer garden. When blooms are spent, deadheading at least once will provide a longer bloom season. The Dyer's Chamomile plant prefers well-drained soil and is fairly drought tolerant, but it does not like high humidity zones.
  • Season: Perennial Hardiness Zones: 3 - 7 Height: 30 inches / 60 - 80cm Bloom Season: Early summer to early fall Bloom Color: Yellow Environment: Full sun Soil Type: Well-drained soils, pH 5.8 - 6.8 Temperature: 68F /20C
  • Sow Marguerite Daisy seeds indoors, 6 - 8 weeks before last frost is expected, or outdoors after last frost. Use quality starter mix, sow the Anthemis Tinctoria seeds on the surface and lightly cover. Keep the flower seed moist until germination. Transplant the Golden Marguerite Daisy seedlings outdoors after danger of frost has passed.
