I was asked to be artist in residence at the Curlew Restaurant, Bodiam , Sussex from October 2016 - January 2017. I produced a series of photoworks, collages for this exhibition, around the idea of the Battle of Hastings 1066 fought exactly one thousand years ago. The human attitude to war has not improved much since then. This book explores this historical and current phenomenon, using artefacts found in Hastings Museum.Blurb
