If you own a 40Gbps Dell Networking or PowerConnect series switch with QSFP+ connectors, the Hummingbird Networks compatible 407-BBOZ allows you to get the most out of your switch.  These transceivers support 820-840nm transmissions, with a maximum transfer distance of 492ft for 40Gbps connections.  The peak dispersion power penalty of this unit is 3.5dB.  Hot-swappable means you can easily move 407-BBOZ units between hardware, as needed.
