Here is an abstract take on a modern 8' table. The border and several pieces of the interior of the table have come from deconstructed barns. We used these pieces to give a unique distress to the clean lines of the cherry, oak, and walnut. If you look close, you'll even notice some white paint on two of the barn wood boards and even a nail head left in another. This was completely on purpose because we love where this wood came from. We were part of a home and barn deconstruction in Pottsville, TN where we came across newspaper insulated walls that dated back to 1898! This stuff is old!! The wood with the paint is the very paint that stood on the barn for so many years, and we couldn't be more proud to preserve this character. Don't worry, it's all sealed with our poly rub mixture. The Aluminum end caps even have their own story. These are from the very factory where my dad worked while raising my brother and I. The end caps are pressure fittings from the factory used with an industrial machine. Have a look at this table and soak it all up, there's a lot to see!
