To create Pierre I adapted an antique image, printed it on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out by hand with my Excalibur scrolling saw. It's exacting work, but very satisfying. Pierre measures approximately 4" x 3&1/2" and is enameled gold on the back and sides. He would make a perfect hostess gift for any cook or baker and looks wonderful hanging on a Christmas tree or wreath or decorating a kitchen or dining room.
