This curious kitten is looking into a Blue Willow porcelain china cup and finding a festive message among the tea leaves. To create her I adapted and printed an antique Christmas postcard image on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out individually with my Excalibur scrolling saw. This kitty measures 3&1/2" x 3" and is enameled gold on the back and sides.
