This unique live bait harness, is designed to be "walked" down the river. It has 3 distinct features of it. The first being the front half of the leader. Made with strong 50lb Berkeley Mono Big Game, this allows for the brute strength that Flathead catfish can have. It is then crimped to a three way heavy duty swivel. The back half of the leader is of 60lb Seven Strand Nylon coated steel leader, allowing the baitfish to journey its way through the river, where rocks, trees, stumps etc may be in its way. The leader prevents these things from cutting the line. The last part is a 12-15" Steel leader with heavy duty snapswivel attached. The swivel snap allows you to attach any size weight you need to get your line close to the bottom of the river. The steel line again helps protect against jagged rocks along the bottom. These harness rigs have been able to land fish up 70lbs. They very well may be able to bring larger ones, however, we have no record as of yet if they have. The 6/0 Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp single hook is attached to the line on a clevis, allow you to move the hook to any area you need. Also allowing you to rig up large baits. On the tail end of the harness is a 4/0 Eagle Claw Treble Hook, which is over an inch long, allowing you to catch a fish with no worries of being shaken loose. These harnesses are made to strict standards that CTR Tackle imposes. Highly trained professionals assemble them by hand to be sure they will hold under the toughest conditions in your favorite river or lake.
