Who could resist this Mid-Century modern Dalmation puppy holding his empty Christmas stocking with the hopeful notation, "I've Been Good!" I printed his image from a vintage card on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out individually with my Excalibur scrolling saw. It's exacting work, but very satisfying! The puppy measures 3&1/2" x 2&1/2" and the back and sides are enameled gold. He would look cute on a Christmas tree or wreath, or on a gift package for a dog lover. The doggie is shipped in his own attractive gift box.
