This beautiful sewing mushroom has been turned from a very old piece of Yew that grew in a churchyard close to my home. It measures approximately 95 mm x 65mm (3 3/4" x 2 1/2") and has been finished with multiple coats of friction polish. This leaves it wonderfully tactile and just begging to be picked up.
