I use these for chunk fishing for Ling Cods or Catfish but great for any hook usage fresh or saltwater. ECO Series hooks have reduced Plating so they will rust out quicker. As a result some discoloration from the tempering process occasionally shows through the lighter plating. We recognize the heavy plating used by the OEM's is just for flash and heavily coated "pretty" hooks can take longer to rust out in saltwater lowering the survival chances for any fish that "break off".
