They are initially slow to establish but the extraordinary display is so very worth the wait! Plants produce towering, leafless, cylindrical flower spikes densely packed with fragrant, flowers from late spring to early summer that hold up well in cut flower arrangements. The 1.5-inch diameter blooms are formed of prominent bright yellow stamens and six petal-like 'tepals' in shades ranging from the palest pink to a deeper, salmon-pink.
