From Mexico. Water soluble glue was used to mount the specimen so if you really want it loose you can soak it for a while in water, use a soft brush or toothbrush and wash the glue off and you'll have a loose specimen. The color of the crystal on top is a little deeper purple than the photo shows.

• Vera Cruz Amethyst specimen from Mexico (Vera Cruz). This is MOUNTED on styrofoam in a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" box.
• Box measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". Crystal measures 1 1/4" long x just under 1/2" wide. The whole specimen measures 1 1/4" tall x 1 1/4" wide. The matrix is sparkly grey quartz.
• You will receive exactly the item pictured. Crystals are exactly as found in nature.
• Mounted means it is attached. There is a label on the box that says: Azurite, Morocco
