The Victorians loved the forget me not flower, as it symbolized true love. Inspired by the designs found in Victorian era jewelry, I too love using forget me nots in my jewelry designs. This is an ever so lovely pair of forget me not flower drop earrings made of white earthenware clay. I have pressed a forget me not design while the clay was wet. It was then fired for the first time. I hand painted the design using non toxic ceramic glazes, in blue and clear. Kiln fired a second time, and then securely attached to the silver plated lever back setting and wires. They measure approximately 1 inch from the top of the wire to the bottom of the ceramic piece. These charming earrings are light and comfortable to wear. Perfect for everyday jewelry, and makes a lovely "something blue" for a bride, as well as a lovely bridesmaid gift. Entirely handmade by me in my studio, one of a kind, and comes in a gift box.
