This beautifully designed Pitcher is completely handmade from blended clays sourced from around Ireland. This pitcher stands 8 inches tall with a slim design and holds 34oz (1 litre). It is a very unique design finish with the trademark "Palette Glaze" of Kiltrea Pottery Studios Ireland. The PALETTE GLAZE is unique to Kiltrea. Just like an artist's "palette" many different colours merge, others follow their own path, creating a beautiful, random pattern. This "Palette Glaze" is made up of different hues of green, blue and gold on an ivory base. This glaze option blends with other colour schemes in the home.

Kiltrea Bridge Pottery in Enniscorthy County Wexford, Ireland, is one of the few remaining studios that use native Irish clay for all of their products. Hand-thrown on a pottery wheel by artisans in the Kiltrea workshop, each Pitcher is hand-glazed individually. The pitchers are fired to a very high temperature to give them strength and rich coloring. Dishwasher-safe and durable enough for everyday use these products are designed to be enjoyed for years.

Michael Rocha and his wife Johanna, who has a background in textiles and weaving, established Kiltrea Pottery in 1980 in a town called Enniscorthy which boasts a proud tradition of pottery-making that can be traced back to 1654. Michael has developed the recipes for the clay used in all Kiltrea products over the past 30 years, this recipes are now closely guarded and only known by a few select people.
