Hello and welcome. Right along the eastern Mediterranean coast, facing the blue Mediterranean lies a range of mountains called Taurus. Taurus mountains still host a few number of people who maintain their nomadic life style. Their numbers decrease day by day. Each year they will host a festival and nomads from all over Turkey will join them for a weekend to meet their relatives to commemorate their history and see each other. This particular kilim rug is made by the nomads of Taurus mountains. Kilim is about 40 years old, has wonderful earthly colors. There are a few repairs on the kilim which can't be seen by the eye. With a size of 7.66' x 4.46' ft (234 x 136 cm), the kilim is ideal for any living room or bedroom. There is nice pastel color combination on the kilim which would match with almost any color in her surrounding. If you live in a cool area with cold winters, this rug will definitely help you to feel warmer when you are sitting by your fireplace or relaxing on your sofa.
