DESCRIPTION

This beautiful Trip Around the World, postage stamp pattern quilt displayed in brilliant, multi color fabric will complete any bed room. This quilt will nicely fit on either a queen or king size bed. The size of the quilt is 104" x 112". The fabric colors that I choose for this quilt is done in blues, tans, gold, rust and white. Most of the fabric pieces are printed 2" squares that are sewn together to create this beautiful quilt. I quilt is finished off with professional, hand quilting throughout. The center of the quilt is bordered off with a tan 3" fabric, then a blue print 6" fabric. This is a straight edge quilt that has the same blue fabric for the binding. ≈ TIPS FOR THE CARE OF YOUR QUILT ≈ You do not have to wash your quilt all the time. Even if you have your quilt on your bed constantly, a day long airing on the clothesline every six months usually keeps your quilt looking and smelling good as well. If something sticky (a spot small as a dime or large as a dinner plate) gets on your quilt, sponge the spot with cold water then blot dry. When washing your quilt, always use cold water and Woolite detergent. Always line dry. Place the quilt on the line either long-wise or side-wise with the back facing out and clip the clothes pins every 6 to 8 inches apart. Never line dry on a windy day. This will cause undue stain and stress on the fabric and the quilting. Allow the quilt to line dry then fluff in automatic dryer for no longer than 10 minutes if desired. You should never sit on your bed while the quilt it on it. This strain the fabric and puts undue strain - stress on the threads in the quilting. Never allow the binding (edges of the quilt) to constantly drag or touch the floor. Doing this will wear out the binding. When removing your quilt from your bed, try to fold it in a different way each time. This helps to prevent permanent creases, which would harm your quilt and are unsightly when the quilt is on the bed.
