A little scallop seashell dish perfect for the nautical and beach lover! Made of white speckled earthenware clay. While the clay was still wet, I imprinted the scallop shell design which I made from a stamper I carved out of clay. The intricacy of the shell design is highlighted with a beautiful dark charcoal gray glaze. The border is painted a sky blue. Fired twice in my kiln for durability, and painted using non-toxic, lead free ceramic glazes. Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter. One of a kind, and entirely handmade by me in my studio in South Carolina, USA.
