Set in the middle of the band is a 3mm wide, 14k solid yellow gold strip which runs trough the whole band. Inside edges have been rounded for comfortable wear. Both the sterling silver and the gold have been recycled and reclaimed from non-mined sources. These rings will have a slim solder joint. The very dark silver will wear into a lighter grey over time.
