Although they have been sculpted in a thousand different ways, the sleek beauty of the dolphin still captivates the eye. This size dolphin we call Small. The mother dolphin is about 3 1/2 inches long. Mounted on a polished burlwood base, the piece stands about 4 inches tall and 5 inches long. PLEASE NOTE; these photos are of illustrative samples. Each burl is a unique piece of nature's art, so the one you will receive will be different but of similar size and comparable beauty. The dolphins are molded from Pellucida, a proprietary compound of resins that resembles Bisque porcelain, but is more durable. They are then airbrushed here in the Studio. It is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
