• Plants for sale are Musa Gros Michel. Plants for sale are between 6-16" tall. Grom Michel is the "lost" Heirloom banana. Diseases destroyed most plantations in the early 19th century. These great "standard" bananas taste better than modern Cavendish types, but Cavendish bananas became the main crop after the disaster.
