Original vintage, 7.75 x 9.75 inch matte finish, silver-print photograph, from a Bolshoi Ballet production of "The Sleeping Beauty." By photographer Mira. Sorokina was a principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet and a 1987 People's Artist of the USSR recipient. During her career she played in such plays as Icarus and Asel and also participated in ballets such as Giselle, where she played the main character, and Don Quixote. Double-weight photograph, with photographer credit stamp on verso. Very good condition, with minor dings to edges.
