DESCRIPTION

The AEM 41-1002C Electronically Tuned Air Intake System represents the next generation of cold air intake technology resulting in larger horsepower and torque gains for specific Nissan 370Z NISMO models by precisely tuning mass air flow sensor signals to the engine. The restrictive factory air filters and air intake housing are replaced with this advanced AEM air intake system. Air enters the system through dual AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filters for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The intake tubing keeps a constant diameter throughout its length allowing larger volumes of air to pass through than some traditional cold air intake systems. The AEM intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to also accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the PCV hose and mass airflow sensor. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filters are made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. View the 41-1002C vehicle applications to determine the legal status for each vehicle.
