The most responsive board in Nitro's ladies freestyle line, the Mercy is designed for anything from all day laps in the park, to record-breaking speeds on the groomers. While strictly speaking it's a freestyle board, it'll happily float powder laps, rip through the trees and cruise piste leisurely when you want it to. The reality is the Mercy is a solid all-mountain board with freestyle leanings but it's certainly not restricted to jibbing and hucking. Sitting comfortably between super-soft and mid-flex, it's best suited to intermediates and above who're looking for a competent all-mountain snowboard which can handle park hits as well, if not better, than some of its contemporaries. The mellow flex makes it particularly good at absorbing uneven snowpack, ruts and bumps. Built around Nitro's Power II core, tip-to-tail poplar wood laminates with additional beech wood stringers, that provide lightweight strength and the perfect blend of flex, response and feel. This keeps the board obedient on uneven or unpredictable snowpack, yet playful and fun when you're laying down a massive powder slash. Nitro know how much of a beating park boards have to take, so they reinforced the edges of the Mercy with RailKiller Edges; twice as thick and twice as strong as standard edges, drastically reducing the change of dings and pull-outs.
