Cecile is always ready for her close-up and has even consented to wear a holiday bell. To make her I adapted a 1950s Christmas card image, printed it on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out individually with my Excalibur scrolling saw. It's exacting work, but very satisfying. Cecile measures 3" x 4" and is enameled gold on the back and sides. She would make a perfect gift for your favorite cat lover, teacher, or favorite child and would brighten up any tree or wreath.
