The satin provides protection from the harsh fibers of your pillowcase,the friction that causes tangles while you are sleeping and the outside elements that damage hair on a daily basis. It is great for all types of hair, especially natural hair & naturally curly hair. It can also extend the life of your hair-do, because it protects your hair while you sleep, so your hair will look just as good when you get up, with only a touch up required. You can also use this cap with conditioning cremes & oils, although it is recommend that oil/creme use not be exposed directly to the fabric as it can cause permanent staining. Oils may also cause the satin to bleed. We recommend using a plastic cap underneath the hat for use with oils/cremes. Each hat has a black satin lining. The satin lining is made slightly larger than the outer material so it can accommodate all your hair comfortably, and the outside is stretchy. Care Instructions: Machine wash cold on delicate cycle with like colors. Lay flat to dry. (Drying in dryer will cause shrinkage of outer material). Do not use bleach or harsh detergents.
