DESCRIPTION

Spawning a River refers to the fact that Clear Lake is the headwaters of the McKenzie River. The Lake is, according to Wikipedia, one of the most exceptional freshwater dive spots in the United States. 100 feet below its surface is a stand of upright trees killed 3000 years ago by volcanic activity. The lake is beautiful, intensely green in some spots, and as it name implies, clear. The photograph was enhanced with texture layers and masks.
