Atlanta Chemical Engineering offers NON TOXIC Thermochromic Liquid ink. This is a microcapsule's product, which changes color according to the temperature. The Thermochromic dye causes the change of color by the heat-induced chemical structure change. Since it's very sensitive to the external environment, it's made as a microcapsule type product for protection and thus its repetitive durability is increased.
Our Themochromic inks have various colors, and temperatures. Color to Color and Color to Colorless (translucent white) variations. When the temperature rises over certain degree the ink turns different color. But the process is reversible- when it gets cold/hot, the ink turns back to its original color. This specific Variation is 6 oz. (177 ml.) jar BLUE changing to COLORLESS (TRANSLUCENT WHITE) at 88F/31C. It's ideal for Scientific projects, arts and crafts, home/ school projects or just for fun experiments. It could be applied on paper, cardboard and ceramic. If you need to apply on textile, our company offers a different formulated Thermochromic Fabric Paint suitable only for textile, leather and shoes.
