An aluminum-brass coin from Uganda was used for this necklace. It is a 500 shillings coin dated 1998. On the front of this beautiful domed coin is an image of an African Crowned Crane bird and the back is the national arms. Both sides of this coin are beautifully detailed. It is so shiny that it was difficult to capture the beauty of the coin with photography. This coin hangs from a brass-plated cable chain and looks great from any angle.

I cleaned, drilled, polished, and domed the coin for interest. This uncirculated coin is in excellent condition. The diameter of the coin is 7/8 inch (23mm) and it hangs from a 24 inch (60.9cm) brass-plated cable chain secured by a lobster clasp. The chain can be shortened upon request.
